Solve : Linking to a thread or post?

Answer»

When REPLYING to a post/THREAD, how do you put a link to a particular thread or post.
I've just had a look at the "SMF bullitin board code" and did not see any [post] or [thread] tags

So if so, how would i put a link to another thread or post.
It probably easy, but my MINDS GONE blank at the moment..... Have a look hereQuote from: Dusty on January 22, 2010, 01:04:19 AM

Thanks for replying dusty

I can only think of using the quote tag, with the author attribute.
Or copying it from the address bar using the "url" tag
this post

But anyway is this basically how you would link to a postQuote from: carlrowley1 on January 22, 2010, 07:43:27 AM
