If the HDD got that hot it would still be my prime suspect...yes the HDD was very hot - I'll try and install it in another computer again to see if it makes it freeze - it DIDNT last time - and seatools didnt find any problems, but sometimes it takes ages to freeze.Cant be the HDD, ive used it for ages in another computer and there was no freezing. Must be the CPU or motherboard then? But if they are the PROBLEM I MIGHT as well just get a whole new computer yeah?

I just dont understand why it doesnt freeze for ages, weeks, sometimes months, then starts again. Would have thought that would be because of temperatures, but the system temps on BIOS are alright, the heatsink is ok and the HARD drive being hot doesnt matter(cos I tested it on the other computer).........

So BLOODY confusing.............................
