Solve : Mouse problems..?

Answer»

I bought a wireless mouse with my brand new laptop, and it works fine.
the problem is, when scrolling with the wheel.  On some web pages, it jumps all the way to the BOTTOM with one click of scrolling the wheel, and on MSN, EVEN if i scroll up, it goes down to the bottom..

I`ve tried fiddiling with the settting under my control panel with it, but with no success..

Any ideasWe could turn this into a Poll?
How may users here hate wireless mice.?

since you probubly cant fix it
you better just disable the scroll whellI've had a wireless mouse for years with no problems.  It's outlasted a couple of computers.  It's a logitech, maybe I just picked a good brand.  The only problem I have had is keeping fresh batteries on hand. There are some RECHARGEABLE batteries that cost around $10-20 which can be used many times, but there is a limit to how many times you can charge them depending on the type of battery you NEED (Li-On, NiMH, and so on).I have a dell bluetooth wireless mouse and I use energizer 15 min recharge batteries. They still are doing a good job. What make and model is that mouse?  Did you install SOFTWARE for it?  Do you still have your laptop touchpad enabled?

So, just disable the feature that's probably most desired in a mouse besides the basic left and right buttons?     I'd say that's not an acceptable solution.  it is fine for me
i could just drag the scroll bars just as easy Quote from: rthompson80819 on September 03, 2009, 05:59:29 PM

Dragging a scroll is easy but not quite a easy as being able use a mouse wheel to scroll.  Scrolling can be done with the mouse pointer positioned anywhere on a page, so pointing to the scroll bar is not necessary; that's definitely a little easier. Non-sense.  I say they rarely have something not quite right.
