Just prior to this occurring what were you doing ....any upgrades or D/L ? ......Have you tried starting in safe mode..........Shut down and then restart.......as soon as it starts to boot repeatedly tap the F8 key and then select the safe option .....see if it will boot up in there ....

dl65  http://www.michaelstevenstech.com/XPrepairinstall.htmdo you have other pc? go to your other pc and try to create  a bootup disk..reboot your pc using your bootup disk..and reinstall your winXp.....cause your winxp OS (operating system) is ALREADY corrupt...thats why it wont start..MAYBE you have installed a program  not appropriate to the OS version..or your have accidentally erased a system files needed to start the operating system..i do have same problem b4, my pc won't start, but i was able to fix it. and now i do have another problem. i wont able to load my cd-rom..i know there's something wrong but i do the possible solution but it's kindly hard. anybody....is there SUM1 out there kindly lend me cd-rom installer program? im so helpless. carla7 malz boot to safe mode.....can you! if you cannot...you hardrive maybe playing up??if you can go into safe mode and in the runbox sfc/scanow   ------------------------------------------------------------------------
