Answer» hi, how can i know my computers ip in XP PROFESSIONAL..? Type My IP in Google. This usually does the job. Unless you are using a proxy. freek.......If you want your ip address .......click start / RUN/ then type CMD and ENTER..........at the prompt ........type IPCONFIG and Enter.......and there it is .........If you want to see what your Physical address ( MAC address is ) at the prompt type..........ipconfig/all and Enter .......now you will see you physical address ( Mac) as well as the ip address . hope this helps dl65 or this>http://www.dslreports.com/faq/3036
