i hear all this crap about myspace, and yes, there are some rather odd people on there, but no one that i have met is anymore than a harmless slightly derranged hacker... well, harmless to people, not computers or web pages...IMO, hackers won't hang out on myspace. They're on Sourceforge. I haven't encountered any virus there but adware, spywares, unwanted cookies are present on their ads. BTW, I hate thos "PIMP" pages there that uses too much javascript and non-proper CSS that makes browsers somethimes freeze.

Myspace was a nice place to socialize befor, like a year ago but I've been hearing negative social feedbacks and bad experiences report nowadays.

Thanks so much for pointing out the news.I was posting a new blog on myspace last night and got a pop-up warning from my defender about a spyware hit.   f..y..i...  never had that happen before ?
eh, if they dont like myspace, they dont have to be there, i like myspace, even though there are some weird people... Quote

eh, the dude is weird. but not THAT weird... i dont see why people thin myspace has every bad person on it, although, i can admit, there ARE alot of weird people on there... sorry bout the missing letters, the ey to the left of the L, and to the right of the J went missing while i was in the bathroom... odd, but, it happensWireless keyboard in the bathroom?  wierdest thing happened to me tonight, inadvertantly << spelling? received email from my 14 yr old daughter in florida (when I shouldn't have)... she's cursing and saying someone hacked into her SITE and changed her password?  Is that possible if she didn't tell someone in the 1ST place? I just shipped them a new puter with all your suggested spyware's and firewall software, they are using an older puter with no protection, is it likely that happend or do u think she probably told somone and they got her?

bozoBoth options listed are possibilities.

She should change logon/password immediately in either case and keep those shields up!Thanks  *  G-Man   ,  I went ahead and copied & pasted your response to me and sent to her. I hope she aint too  PO'd at her dad but what the heck.  She is playing with fire on that thing but I am like 1400 miles away and can't monitor her actions, it's great being a non-custodial parent!  NOT* Been there. Done that. HATED it. Quote
