Hello all.

I require some HELP. Now this is a strange one.

i went on limewire and downloaded a Family Guy clip.

I then went into my downloads folder to play it but nothing happens.

If you right click on the file all you see is Play, Open, Open with you know stuff like that.

So now i want to delete it because i think its a virus.

I have run virus scans and nothing was found.

I went to the folder itself and SAID delete but it deleted everything in the folder apart from that file, It throws up a error window saying the file can not be deleted but it called it a different name.

I also did a System Restore but the file is STILL there.

Is there anyway i can delete this file?

R0SSHave you tried deleting it from safe mode or command prompt? Run all your scans from safe mode. If there is something fishy in restore files, turn of system restore and rerun the scans in safe mode.It'll remain a mystery file until you tell us the extension.

I went into Limewire and history and deleted it from there. It seems to have gone i am in the PROSESS of running virus and spyware scans now to make sure.
