Answer» Hi, I'm a PC and I just got hired at a job using a Mac. I'm trying to fudge my way through but to be HONEST I don't know what I'm doing Luckily I only have to use it 1 or 2 hours out of my day. It is Mac Leopard laptop and I need to know office (I know office 2007 a bit on PC but this is different) and I need to know how to save files, install stuff, all the basics.
What are the best resources out there for FAST LEARNING?
Thanks so muchfess up to your boss that you don't know how to use a Mac and see if they can offer any helpMy boss knows and he's being patient but doesn't have the time to show me. If I can teach myself in the next couple of weeks I can keep my job and I'm a fast learner, so I'm not worried. BTW I hate the "Missing Manual" series of books. Tried reading ONE but didn't like it.Go to a book store. http://www.amazon.com/Office-2008-Macintosh-Missing-Manual/dp/059651431X/ref=sr_1_2?ie=UTF8&s=books&qid=1265751456&sr=1-2-spell
From that link you will find other books or you can browse a few pages in that book. This is how I select books. amazon lets you look inside the book, just like going to a book store! And they even recommend what others have bojught!
