Solve : New CH display problem?

Answer»

For the past few days I've noticed that when I click on "show all new posts" and if there is only one new topic, the boxes on the right ("started by", "views", "replies", "last post" are all blank. This HAPPENED with both IE8 and Firefox 3.6. I'm attaching a screen shot. If there is more than one topic listed, everything is fine.

Certainly not a big deal, but thought you'd like to know.

Argh....sorry, long day.Where is "show all new posts"?It's actually "all unread posts". I'm sure everyone understood. Quote from: Allan on April 26, 2010, 12:29:25 PM

I wouldn't be so sure.  Honestly, I was not aware that it's an item on Posts button of the recently added menu. Quote from: soybean on April 26, 2010, 12:58:59 PM

I can see it fine in IE Allan.  Maybe a plugin or something?I don't get the same behaviour but the titles are offset from where they should be (the started by, replies, etc text) . It shows up fine in FF however.

it took some doing to get my unread topics down to one- it was either clear them and wait for a single new one or go through them all, I went with the latter. This behavior was noticeable for me on two different systems - a laptop on which I use IE8 and a desktop on which I use Firefox. So it's not a setting or browser specific. But again, it's really not important - just thought I should mention it in case there were others experiencing the same anomaly. Guess it's just me - no biggie.Just tested this on IE6 and it looked fine...so it can't be the site.  Heh.

Although you checked with two different browsers on two different computers, it could still be a setting that both browsers (or computers) share.  This doesn't appear to be an ISSUE for anyone else, but if it bothers you at all, you could try comparing your settings for the two browsers and looking for anything they have in common.  Or perhaps it was just a fluke...  Does it still happen?Haven't seen it yet this morning. I'll post back if and when it happens again.
Note that it happened on the laptop on Sunday and the desktop yesterday.
