I would agree that perhaps that post could be updated to include that information about forum-specific and/or an additional section created to reflect forum issues, which seems to be common for other forums I visit. Even though I suspect as a source of feedback it might GO largely ignored (don't get me started...) it could be useful to at least provide explanations for why some things don't work (Like the forum search issue which I replied to in your other post, with which I share your annoyance, and have for the last few years).
