My home page comes up blank. When I'm on e-Bay, if I click on a picture to view it as the main picture, it does NOTHING. If I right-click on that picture to open it in a NEW window, it comes up as page cannot be displayed. Other certain WEBSITES that I used to go to no longer work. Pop-cap games, for example. Nothing comes up as clickable on this website anymore. And I can not USE certain buttons, either. My fiance has a home business and can no longer use her Pro-pay account. When she clicks the button to get to it, nothing happens. Is this a Java thing. I had an error come up that said something about java. I am running Windows ME. Click on the Download J2SE JRE link at the center of the page. This will bring you to EULA agreement, click on 'Accept' then on 'Continue.' The next page will provide download links. You'll want "Windows Offline Installation, Multi-language  (j2re-1_4_2_04-windows-i586-p.exe, 14.52 MB)."

If you're still having problems after that, a repair of INTERNET Explorer is in order. If you've updated IE from its default version, there should be an entry in Add/Remove Programs (in the Control Panel) for Microsoft Internet Explorer x (where x is the version number). Click on "Change/Remove" and there should be an option to repair IE. You'll want to do this.

You could try an alternate browser such as Mozilla (http://ftp.mozilla.org/pub/mozilla.org/mozilla/releases/mozilla1.6/mozilla-win32-1.6-installer.exe). You'll need to reinstall SunJava's JRE after installing Mozilla.
