no operation can be performed on local area connection while it has its media disconnected. Then it says the same thing again with an error occurred while renewing interface wireless connection : unable to contact your DHCP server. request has timed outgot some bad viruses and took it to geek squad. they did it with my disk. I have cabel internet. It sounds like your WiFi card is currently turned off, or you are no longer connected to your network.
Make sure that your WiFi device is on (usually, a keyboard command controls this) If its directly connected in, make sure the cord is plugged in to your computer properly.
Windows XP should have a Wireless icon in the bottom left hand corner of your screen. Find it, and make sure your network is connected
The error you received back from running the ipconfig tools is usually the result of not being connected
