whenever i try to open .iso file type it says that the archive may be an unknown file format or it may be damaged what should i do?What program are you using to open .iso file?Dear User
Try Alcohol soft if this gives errrs then broni can give you more correct idea

Here, I cannot open .iso files with Winzip. It is an old version of Winzip though.

I can open .iso files with 7Zip (and .zip files too, amongst others).

ISO file is just straight CD/DVD image. If you have burning program, like Nero, or Roxio, you can burn it straight to CD/DVDI use ISOBuster..will 7zip open and create .rar files?It will open and extract RAR files but not create them. You shouldn't really have any NEED for that though. 7zip's own format 7z is just as good (if not better) than rar and winrar can open 7z files.
