Paint.NET is the new and improved version of Paint.

http://www.getpaint.net/Got it Great program, very useful for image editing.
Can be slow to load on older systems though.Yes, there are a lot of great EFFECTS on it. But, it can be quite frustrating - sometimes you cant find the tool you want.

I found out about it in a computer magazine!

EDIT: Calum, how come you have only 12 posts? My post count was reset to 1 yesterday by ADMIN on my request.Alright, I was just wondering.@Calum: Does that mean your banned from DB&G? I use paint.net for quick edits but nothing (for FREE) compares to The GIMP. www.gimp.org

Hah, as if.
I may be a rookie, but I'm STILL a moderator, no doors are closed to me (well, some are, but not that one).
EF, I don't like the GIMP, I did use it for over a year but just never felt comfortable with it. I find PDN a lot easier to use.
