Solve : Password protect a folder?

Please Can ANYONE help..? Im running windows ME and Ive heard in the past that you can put passwords on folders such as My Documents, i have tried to do it but i AINT GOT a clue !!  i hope someone can help me,

No real definite answer, but in Windows XP, you can protect a directory by a password only if your drive is formatted in NTFS format, not if it is formatted in FAT32.
