Answer» when i log on to the net, i can only spend so long before a pop up pops up and logs me off the net. it then starts to DIAL a premium rate number. i have looked all over for where it is hiding in my harddrive but i cant FIND it.
can anyone help?

bug inhabiting your puter........ I would first of all do a virus scan ......and be sure your anti virus is up to date.
Then I would scan with Ad-aware ....(free)

You will be amazed at how many things those apps will find. You may ALSO find that the redialler ( redirector) is gone as well.
With all the bugs and viruses that are uot there today it is almost necessary to run these TYPES of UTILITIES regularly .....to keep your system running smoothly.
