Solve : Pornwizzard froze up my screen .?

I was surfing AROUND some site and a WINDOW popped up that wanted me to down load pornwizzard .I didn't think it wise , so I'd tried to get out , but I couldn't exit out or anything and I wasn't about to DOWNLOAD some trash and screw up my computer . So any way , I turned my SERVER and rebooted . Can any body explain , What HAPPENED ? Was their any other way to free up my computer ? What Windows version? What kind of security programs do you have installed?
