Answer» hi all I have a ATC-5130, ALi4+mainboard .. dialup connection has a lil box that BUGS me lol every time I connect to the internet via dialup I get a pre dial terminal screen is there a switch I can shut off or do I have to deal with it ? thanks for any helpif your on 56k mod you will have to deal with it...2 seconds of time...GO to my computer/dialup networking. Right click your connection and select properties. You should see your modem listed. Click configure. Click the options TAB. Clear the check BOXES for bringing up the terminal screen (before and after dialing). You don't need the terminal screen unless you actually use it. Most PEOPLE don't even know what its for.how did you setup you net connection...wiz or man...My own two little index fingers and the hunt-and-peck typing system. hey thanks all !!!! 2k was rite the checkmark is off and I also found 2 modems listed in my modem properties . tks again "life is getting much better now"
