Solve : problem downloading iTunes?

i just GOT my ipod nano .when i try to download iTunes from apple.com/ipod/start, i get "this type of file can harm your computer.Are you sure you want to download iTunes801Setup.exe?".
my OS is Xp.
i use GOOGLE chrome.
should i proceed?plz help
