Answer» Hello All!
Could anyone point me out a sofware programming tool that works on my Macintosh SE running System 6.08?
Thanks! You might try searching your Mac (using Sherlock) for Hypercard
It is a programming tool for old mac systems, that can work on NEWER ones. (Most Macintosh viruses were made using Hypercard, but now Hypercard is no LONGER included in newer Macintosh versions) I saw hypercard. It is interesting if I could interface it with code in compiled in C or C++ or even Pascal. I want to use the computer to CONTROL some stuff via serial port. Hypercard would be great for the interface but so far I don't KNOW if I can use it that way.Unfortunately, programming for the Macintosh Operating System is quite hard
Thats why Macs dont get viruses, and for the same reason, why there is a huge lack of FREE applications (and applications all together)
You might check into some runtime environments, like GTK, which might allow you to implement another language.
