Answer» I am having a headache with Protection right now, as it doesnt seem to include the drop-down list created by Data Validation I can still modify the CELLS with a Data Validation drop-down list. If possible, can anyone TELL me how to PROTECT everything BUT selected components? (such as buttons on the worksheet)can anyone help me please? this is a really important function for my program. Is this for a macro or to do manually? If you NEED it for a macro, the easiest way is to record it by doing it manually and then cutting and pasting the resulting code into your existing code. If you do it manually, you'll be ABLE to protect various components via checkbox options (Tools==>Protection). Hope this helps. 8-)
