I got a Kindle for my Mom ...books from any VENDOR were priced identically from different vendors.
That coupled with being LOCKED in by branding to 1 source really made me start sayin Hmmmm...Quote from: patio on March 08, 2012, 02:13:56 PM

About time...

Yeah definitely, I tried ebooks for a short time as I read a LOT but nothing compares to a book in your hand in my opinion. But the price fixing is just another way to screw over the end user. An alternative not MANY people know about is the local public library. I know SOMEONE with a Kindle and she goes to the library and can download two books at a time for free. You have to have a library card, but that's cheap.Yepper...
That's exactly what i have Mom doin now...
I take her up there about every 2 weeks...
