(your suggestions about downloading MBAM and SAS have proved invaluable, GOT me out of a few pickles) Now for the silly QUESTION - When you have to use HJT, why do you need to rename the exe FILE to sniper? ThanksThere is malware that can DETECT the hijackthis.exe and "hide" from it. Renaming it ensures this doesn't happen.Always been puzzling me that. Stands to reason when you know why!
