Solve : ripping cassettes to computer?

i have about 200 cassettes i would like to rip them and put them on cd is there any way of doing this or recording them from a player to a computer i have a new dell computer with windows xp. someone said it was possible but didn't SAY how could someone help with instructions thanksIf you want to go the easy (but expensive) way... otherwise, if you have a decent cassette player, you could just pickup a cable and software (usually around $50) at your LOCAL best buy/circuit city.I do this regularly, CONNECT a lead from the audio out on your tape player to the audio in on your computer sound card. Record using “Audacity”, (free download from http://audacity.sourceforge.net/ ), export it as an MP3 file and then burn it to an audio CD. I do this regularly, connect a lead from the audio out on your tape player to the audio in on your computer sound card.
Note that you'll need a cord with a plug on each end for this, instead of the usual cord with a plug on one end and a receptacle on the other end. I found what I needed at a Radio Shack.
