|
Answer» Crazy 149 for 1.5TB. The 1.5TB version of the EcoGreen F2EG has a manufacturer's suggested retail price of $149. Link I saw that a couple weeks ago on newegg. I was amazed! Actually, the first 1tb hdd amazed me... 1.5TB on a 3-platter hard drive? Pfft. Look at my 2TB Micro SD Card: http://blog.wired.com/gadgets/2009/01/two-terabyte-sd.html I cant wait! Mabye they should try to make at least 750gb zune hard drives. I accually could use 750gb on my zune... I really couldToo bad they happen to make the worst HDD's out there.... But promising nonethelessQuote from: computeruler on March 13, 2009, 03:36:53 PM I cant wait! Mabye they should try to make at least 750gb zune hard drives. I accually could use 750gb on my zune... I really could For what? 160Gb is 40,000 songs...... 18,000 @ 192kbps tool up 93gb Quote from: computeruler on March 17, 2009, 03:59:18 PM 18,000 @ 192kbps tool up 93gb that' pretty much what kpac said- rephrased. let's see- 93GB/18,000= approximately 5.3 MB for each song. 5.3MB*40,000= 206.66GB HOWEVER- we must take into account that most music space measurements use 128kbps despite it sucking SEVERELY- so reduce the size another third, to around 137GB. naturally chopping off a third from the bitrate won't translate directly into a third reduction in size, so CHANCES are it will really be around 160GB for 40,000 songs. The end.My math was different I have 3600 songs at 130vbr some at 128 and it takes up 10gb. i got 40,000 songs as TAKING 108 57600 of those vbr songs could fit in 160GB. Ok3600 times 16.too much math!Start --> Run --> Type calc.exe and press Enter.that helps lol |
