Answer» I've seen this SUGGESTED often here but it's new to me. I do the maintennace in Safe Mode because of the assurance of having more stuff securely shut down but why scan for spyware adware, malware et al in Safe Mode?When you boot into safe mode, it just loads a minimal set of generic drivers, that is it does not read the registry which is where the malware gets its instruction to load. Once loaded the spyware is sometimes TRICKY enough to evade the REMOVAL tools.Safe mode Definition of Safe mode.If a PC is treated like a desk in an office...its..clean when you leave it...therefore do the same with a pc...cleanup after use..less hassle...but why bother its not my pc and its not my JOB...till i have to use it..
