Answer» i noticed my scheduled tasks do not run automatically. This may have occured after I did a recovery and REINSTALLED norton system works. my disk cleanup, and norton virus programs do not run when scheduled. They used to. In the status line, it reads "could not start." I get error messages: No mapping betwene account name and security IDs was done. Can anyone offer some suggestions. Thanks I am not familiair with scheduling tasks (I rather start them manually.) Perhaps you could reschedule all your schedulded tasks and CREATE a new account? If you have not yet done so, that is.thanks i will try ITWITH some OSs, you need to enter a password when scheduling a taskwhat operating system is this and you UNINSTALLED norton via add/remove or how...and why did you do a recovery....it maybe RELATED..
