Solve : screen goes into sleep mode? |

Answer» I'm having problems with a laptop hooked into a docking station. The screen attached to the docking station will go into SLEEP mode and I am UNABLE to get it back up. What I have to do is unhook the laptop from the station, unhook the screen, hook it DIRECTLY into the laptop. This must reset the screen b/c when I hook it back in it works fine. Does anyone have any suggestions as to what is causing the screen to go into sleep mode???maybe the bios settings/power options......what is the MAKE of your laptop...It's a Dell Inspiron 8100.have a read and see if this may apply to you>GRAPHICS card>http://www.bay-wolf.com/bios/I8100A15.TXTI'll give this a try.
