Answer» Is there such a thing as a serial to USB adapter? My friend (who actually knows quite a bit about computers) told me that you can buy this device (SIMILAR to a external USB hub) that plugs into a serial PORT and gives you 2 USB PORTS. This would be a handy thing to have but I sort of don't believe it's possible. What do you guys think? Is he right?Yes he is right. While it's easier to find USB to serial, there are serial to USB but EITHER they require a chip\adapter box "of some kind" or software since technically, Serial cannot directly communicate with USB or the other WAY around.
