am running Windows 98 SE on an Intel machine with 40GB and 2.4GHZIf it's rather: The WINAMP.EXE file is linked to missing export SHELL32.DLL:SHGetSpecialFolderPathA it was some glitch in ver. 5.11. It's supposed to be fixed with ver. 5.12Thanks Broni, the message is definitely SHGetFolderPathW and another message that pops up is C:\ProgramFiles\Winamp\winamp.exe A file attached to the system is not functioning.
I started receiving these messages when I installed open OFFICE software and then tried removing it.am also getting a lot of cannot find .dll files. will I have to reinstall windows. how would i do that without deleting important filesFor Win98 you will need some TEXT editing skills...rename win.com in the ROOT directory of C: to Win.old and re-install Win98. This should leave your DATA and programs intact. You may have to re-install some of your drivers afterwards.
