Solve : sky+HD box freeview?

Answer»

Hello
Not sure If i'm in the right area to post my Question but here goes:

I Have a sky+HD box freeview and I'm no LONGER a sky BROADBAND customer As I've moved in to a council flat I have a Communal DIGITAL Aerial in my loft with 1 aerial input in the wall
Can someone help me get my sky Box to work?

Thanks

Sky's "Free" service is still satellite TV and not through an aerial so unless your building has a satellite dish you will not be able to use your box.

Instead you would need to buy a Fre view DVR which will give you similar functionality to a Sky box but with regular freeview TV. You could consider selling your Sky box to raise funds to put towards a new DVR.No-one outside Great Britain will have any IDEA what they are talking about... hapling said that, you can get twin tuner Freeview HD PVRs for under £100 at Maplin or ASDA, or even less on line like £70 at Dealbuyer.com, probably cheaper secondhand. (A PVR is a box with a hard drive in that you can use to record programmes).
