Answer» My spam mail is growing at an uncontrollable rate. When I have real emails it seems to slow down the sending and receiving and sometimes blocks it altogether. Am I worsening the problem by clicking on them? Further, I like and use Thunderbird - the free email client. It has a junk filter that you train yourself, SIMPLY by USING it. This won't stop the spam mail from arriving, but it helps MAKE it more manageable. http://www.mozillamessaging.com/en-US/thunderbird/ hankfarkas , years ago i did the same as you , unsubcribe and they will GO AWAY , 40/50/ a day i got , just delete and they will stop it will take months , now i only get 2/4 a day , harry To try and block the spam, see if the domain names of the email addresses are similar. If they are, just add them to your email service's blacklist. |
