Solve : Speaker Problem...? |
|
Answer» Hello, first post, new to the site, Just looking for a bit of help. I am a college student WHOSE 5.1 surround sound just went up. Well the course was sliced in half, my couch leg ( MADE of metal) when moved slide over it and sliced it in half. At first I got it back working with electrical tape, but as of recent that hasn't helped. i was told to solder it. So I just got a soldering iron, and it still doesn't work. It just seems that the thing isn't getting power. it is a logitech, I am sure they aren't that expensive any more... but when I got it it was fairly pricey, and if it still works why spend more money, I don't know i still have HOPES...but i am not sure if I am doing anything wrong? Any one who could help me I would highly appreciate. Well the course was sliced in half Which cord was sliced in half? Quote from: AEGIS on September 10, 2009, 10:13:19 PM Which cord was sliced in half? Oops spelled cord wrong. The main power cord that would go into an outlet. I tried splicing it back together and soldering it still not working. Could it be possible I blew something? WI shouldn't think a solder / splice of the power cord would be a problem. I wonder if there is a fuse or coil which was blown. Not much help, but it is not inconceivable that the unit was damaged. See what others may suggest in POSTS. |
