Answer» Can someone tell me how to prevent the status bar in IE from disappearing , as i have to restore it by manually going to View/Status bar, which is a really annoying. Thanks in advance for any helpKevin .......
what O/S and browser are you using.
Do you mean that you open say explore and there is no status bar at the bottom? So then you go up to the top and click on View ......and then tick status bar and the bar APPEARS........ so how LONG does it remain ?
Check in the view pull down under tool bars and make sure the Lock the toolbars is ticked.
Without more info I DONT know what to suggest.
Is this something that has just started?

I've had this on and off too *grr*. Right now, it's working ok. I think It pretty much started working again on its own and I expect it will FAIL me in the near future.Here is a fix
