Solve : streamline google searches??

Answer»

i have a site on my desktop called "group recipes"  and i needed to reach their customer support for help with logging in.    i've been unable to reach them.    the site they give for help uses   [a-t]  instead of ""  and    [dot] instead of "."  so i can't copy and paste it to the e-mail address place.   when i emailed them the email postmaster said the address did not exist.     that's  my first problem.

second problem.....when i typed "group recipes customer service"  into the google search,  i got sites for  "group" something,  for "recipes"something,   for "customer" something,  and for "service" something.    is there something... a symbol maybe... to type into the google place to confine the search to what i'm really looking for??

there probably IS no customer service.   still............ Quote from: phobarbenix on April 11, 2010, 03:37:40 PM

Are you TALKING about an actual website, one you've visited in the past?  If so, what is the address, i.e. URL,  for it? Quote from: phobarbenix on April 11, 2010, 03:37:40 PM

use quotes AROUND the query in google.yes.   it's an actual website.   the address they give that didn't work is   [email protected]

group.recipes.dmca[a-t]gmail[d-o-t]com  is how it was written.   see....none of this shows up as a real link    Quote from: phobarbenix on April 11, 2010, 08:13:39 PM
[email protected]

That sounds more like an email address,  not a web site.sorry.   my bad.    it's     http://www.grouprecipes.com/ Quote
The GR Team is busy working on the brand new Group Recipes. Unfortunately for the time being, we can't respond to all email messages. So just HANG tight for a bit. We'll be ready for your suggestions and comments SOON enough.

If your content is being used without your permission, you can shoot us an email to group.recipes.dmca [a-t] gmail [d-o-t] com, and we'll get things taken care of for you.

Doesn't sound like they want to talk to anybody unless there are legal reasons involved.  Could be a one man, or woman, operation.still.......the e-mail postmaster said there was no such address.     so even if i had a legal problem, i'd have no valid email addy to send it to.    bummer        thanks for the input everyone.
