Answer» I did a format c:. on my laptop (panasonic cf-62) and now I cant get the os to finish install.I am trying to install WIN98 se I have GOTTEN it to open in safe mode but it wont load any DEVICES or hardware.I am not sure if the BIOS installed or if my autoeexec.bat is right.if I run sysedit and clik on config tab there is only one line windows setver.exe the auto exec.bat tab is blank. when trying to run sysedit I get this error message..system configuration error c:\autoexec.bat cannot open this file..file is autoexec.bat I am also getting this message Drive A -C-and D are usingms-dos compatibility mode file system... can anyone explain this for me thank you What is your operating system? os WIN 98 I beleive that there is no BIOS installed how do i install bios in a Panasonic cf-62 laptop?before you mess with the bios are you sure you set the partitions correctly? TRY F1, F2, or Del.
