Answer» I would like to thank "backdated","pcdoc4christ","phonegut1" and "2k_dummy for all the help. I took your advice and did as you all requested. After spending 2 more hours with AOL teck"thats 4 hours total AOL told me the problem was with Talk America. I contacted Talk America "for the second time" and as soon as I told the teck what the problem was he told me that Talk America and AOL will not configure period. So all the crap I went through the LAST three days was for nothing. The Talk America teck was supprized I wasn't told this the first time I called.
I just wanted to pass along the information so no body else will have to go through the same as I did. Even though my wife want's her AOL. I told her "IT'S OUT OF HERE".
Thanks Again to all DonTrust me its for the best. Some people on here like flame and raptor might remeber all the trouble i had with them over my wireless. But i used another CH account then They are completely HOPELESS. When we first got broadband we spent a total of about 6 hours on tech support to them and they were comeplete idiots. They kept saying the same thing over and over. So we messed around with our pc ourselves and then got our modem THINGY to work, all we did was install some sound card drivers. How the *censored* boradband is effected by sound card drivers i will NEVER know ( unless SOMEONE wants to tell me )
Thanks c}{r1$
P.S Sorry for hijaking this post, if it wants deleating feel free, sorry
