OS X doesn't use drive letters. You can OPEN Terminal, and type cd /Volumes, then type ls, (WITHOUT the commas, OBVIOUSLY), to see the drives in your system. The boot partition is, obviously, mounted as / Here's a screenshot. In the above screenshot, "John" is a CD-ROM.Yes, in UNIX, hard drives and other devices are trated as if they are files, listed in different parts of the directory. |
