Solve : terminal in apple?

need some help pls.
i now win i am in windows terminal and i WONT to change drives i d: and hit enter and it gos to that drive .
now wine i am in apple terminal how do i do the same thing.
pls help

OS X doesn't use drive letters.
You can OPEN Terminal, and type cd /Volumes, then type ls, (WITHOUT the commas, OBVIOUSLY), to see the drives in your system. The boot partition is, obviously, mounted as /

In the above screenshot, "John" is a CD-ROM.Yes, in UNIX, hard drives and other devices are trated as if they are files, listed in different parts of the directory.
