Answer» Actually, I don't know if this should be here or under INTERNET Explorer. Since it's in Windows, guess I'll try here.
For some reason, the format has changed in my Temp Internet Files folder. It used to SHOW all the usual icons for cookies, pages visited, etc. Now, all I get is a kind of grayed-out icon for desktop and a folder titled Content IE5 (I recently changed to IE6, by the way).
When I open the Content IE5 folder (from TIF or through Windows Explorer), it shows 8 folders, and all of them are empty. It also has the the index.dat icon, and the same grayed-out desktop icon as in the MAIN TIF folder. Can anyone shed some light on this and how to restore the folder to the way it used to be? what o/s is it normally a grayed out folder means that it was hidden?i would SCAN for virus/worm etc ?also maybe the upgrade to ie6 has cause this?
