I'm confused about why my video does not transfer into imovie in chronological order (in order the event was taped). I connected my Sony camcorder (with mini dvd) via usb port to my imac and used imovie to edit. I wanted to burn a copy onto a regular size DVD. Well, the video data is transfered but I THINK it's doing it in order of clip time length! How can I make the video transfer in the order the event happend?? I've been viewing the clips and figuring out what CAME first, then ORDERING them- very frustrating, not too much time consumming!
