Answer» My computer recently CRASHED and because it was really old and crappy anyway i decided just to get a new one. It would not even start windows. However i have many pictures stored on it's hard drive that I really want to still have. Is it somehow POSSIBLE to access those files to copy them onto my new computer? I was thinking maybe of removing the hard drive and somehow hooking it up to another computer, i really dont KNOW how to go about getting the pictures though. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated! Thank youYup, not too difficult, but you'll really want a computer-savvy friend to help out with this. One that's familiar with the inside of computers.Ask him to "slave the drive and backup the data". If he draws a blank, ask someone else. Someone who knows what he's doing should have little TROUBLE.
