Solve : Unwanted Desktop Invasion? |
Answer» Hi, How do I get rid of a pic that somehow became my desktop background? My comp uses Windows Vista. I have no idea how this pic of a vid game map became my desktop. But it has no X-out, and I'm not sure how to use the control panel to remove it. Please advise... thank you. If you give instructions please assume I need to be told like a THREE year old. I don't think they have computers yet. Okay, so I found this item, however, most of you know I don't like trying to work on my computer. http://www.askvg.com/how-to-uninstall-remove-custom-3rd-party-themes-in-windows-xp-vista-and-7/ So, do you guys think this will work if i input that command? I don't want to mess with the C Drive directly but the command in the start box... no problem. I am assuming this is a 3rd party theme. I have no idea how it got there. I was trying to LOAD a map to view while playing a game but the computer was having responding issues so I closed the game and I thought all programs to do a cache clear. After I came back from the RESTART or SOMEWHERE in there, that map I was trying to load was coverng my screen wall to wall. Thanks... Idid it! I did it! Whew! I clciked Properties or Personalize and in THEMES I saw a drop box to change the current picture and I hit Delete and phiff! It was gone. Tahnk you Jesus... AMEN??? |
