Solve : Using PC as storage? |

Answer» I need serious help! I'm a NEW grad and I've been given a PROJECT by my boss...he has asked that I take 3 old machines and turn them into "storage" for computer images. I guess the most obvious thing to do is combine the hard drives and turn it into a server. I'm excited about the work but I have no idea where to START! What type of server should it be? What should I INSTALL on it? HELP PLEASE!!You dont have to turn them into a ?server?.....you can connect them all to one computer as slaves ( the drives) or even to the main server? (not SURE about that) and then you can access the files through the main server?...depeding on how everything is setup. |
