LIKE WHATS the most damage it could do?Oh, I dunno..... Make the computer unbootable?Quote from: Carbon Dudeoxide on March 14, 2009, 12:08:28 PM Oh, I dunno..... Make the computer unbootable? So is there a way I can install this http://lassekongo83.deviantart.com/art/SlanXP-2-0-51492944 with out messing my computer up? maybe another possible way? You can get tuneup utilities but you have to pay for it though: http://www.tune-up.com/products/tuneup-utilities/ You can try patching, I did that before and it got the theme to install but there was issues later on at least for me In my opinion, I'd FORGET it man. i'd not be patching your computer at all and keep pc ok. Patching caused me problems before so I dunno about your experience. I have patched my computer without any TROUBLE but I might have just been lucky. I would only do it if you have a Windows CD in case you run into trouble. What's up Wefro? Didn't believe me lol No matter how you look at it you are changing the Windows shell by adding this type of modification. Basically it's a custom OS. If something goes wrong or breaks you are stuck. It just doesn't suite me. I like different themes.I use Microsoft's Royale theme for XP. http://www.softpedia.com/get/Desktop-Enhancements/Themes/Royale-Theme-for-WinXP.shtmlQuote from: Carbon Dudeoxide on March 14, 2009, 08:11:26 PM I use Microsoft's Royale theme for XP. Here is a few more Microsoft themes so no patching required, and in addition to the ROYAL theme, these look good too.
