Solve : Vista on Macbook Help.? |
Answer» I just purchased a new macbook, i dont know exactly what kind, but its the 13" SCREEN. And i bootcamped it to put windows vista home basic on it, because mac confuses me. And so i am trying to DOWNLOAD music on vista, but the sound wont work on the vista? is there a specific reason for this? In the bootcamping process i havent inserted the Mac OS x dvd into my computer either, i didnt know what it does. Quote ...to put windows vista home basic on it, The eastern Proverb says: "Mac user who go vista jump flom pan to hot spot."To answer your question, drivers aren't installed. If you use the Mac OS X disc, it should contain all of the missing drivers - you could also set up Vista Windows Updates to LOCATE any necessary drivers during the update process.Yeah, you'll need to finish the entire process by installing the drivers from the Mac OS X install discs. After that, you'll need to reboot and you'll have your sound and all the other components working properly. "Already running Boot Camp? Even easier. If you’re already working with Boot Camp Beta, you’re practically finished before you start. All you need is some new drivers. To install them, simply start up your Mac in Windows and update the drivers from the Leopard DVD." I love the FACT that the Apple website didnt provide details about this. On this guide, ignore steps 1-12. Look at steps 13 and beyond: http://www.simplehelp.net/2009/01/15/using-boot-camp-to-install-windows-7-on-your-mac-the-complete-walkthrough/ It explains it in a much easier to understand WAY. |
