Solve : web page partial print only - help...?

Answer»

I am a housewife with very little computer EXPERIENCE. I just BOUGHT a used CANON imageclass mp360 printer and installed it with the disk it came with. I am trying to do a course by distance education and I have to download lots of stuff from the web - mostly from the RBA sight (reserve bank of australia). and places like www.budget.gov.au
The problem is that some parts of some pages are missing when I print them. I have printed a test page and that was fine and I updated my computer from the microsoft website.
Do you think there is a problem with the printer I bought? I also downloaded this extra software on the printer disk called something like web printing. But this is not an option when I try to print from these websites. I can't get to the webprint button from the document. I have also tried saving to a word document, but the same thing happens.
Any suggestions would be welcome. Sincerely, MArissaWhat do you mean? Is it CHOPPING off a bit of text on the right side?

FlameNo, parts of the middle of the text are missing. I can't see why - the text on the internet does not look any different, no underlining, highlights, graph or whatever. Sometimes half of the last sentence is there, as in I see the top of the LETTERS, but not the bottom. I was thinking this is maybe some kind of memory problem, or maybe something in my computer is not compatible with this (IBM, says netvista on the box, uses windows 2000), but I really have zero experience with computers.Try another printer. Did you correctly install software for the printer?

FlameDear Flame,
Thank you for your effort. Someone in a shop here told me not to do fast printing on internet stuff and just to print normal mode. He said the fast printing method often lost information. I did this and now it works. Thanks again. Please pass on the info if anyone else has this problem. It was very frustrating.
Sincerely, Marissa
