Answer»

Hi guys and GALS, didnt quite know how to search for this particular problem so i came here, every time i turn on my pc, i can't hit the X to close windows, i can't click on folders or close programs running by the clock, i have to hit Ctrl + Alt + Del then it responds again, i tried reformatting but it did not help the problem, it started about 3 weeks ago, and i been trying to figure it out on my own but i can't

I have done virus scans i use Kaspersky, i tried adware scans with adware SE it all brings up nothing, i tried error CHECKERS like error nuker it didn't fix it either, hope somone can help me i'd appreciate it i'll put as much info about my pc as i can

DirectX 9.0CI'm supposing that the X to which you refer is the Close thingy in the top RH corner of your screen. Are you using Firefox, Internet Explorer or some other browser. Whichever it is are you fully up-to-date with updates for the browser and your OS?

yes its the X to close folders and web browsers ect, i use firefox, but its not internet problem its the entire pc, i can't hit the [X] on any programs, its like all my programs switch to the background, but i cant bring them back up to the foreground, when i right click on a program and go to exit or close, it doesn't work, i cant SELECT it, when i hit ctrl+alt+del it works again for a while, another thing its doing latley, when i watch videos on zoomplayer it rewinds itself randomly, and on web browsers it randomly goes back to the previous page, like if i hit backFaulty mouse?hmm.. well its a wireless logitech mouse if you think it might be the mouse i'll get a new 1 it is kinda old, at this point i'd try about anything cause its annoyingIt could be but if your able to click on other things such as icons, start menu etc then i doubt it...

Did you get an install cd with the mouse ? if you did try reinstalling it ! Quote from: Fed on August 27, 2007, 02:38:27 PM
