Answer» It is the second Monday in December. I do not like the idea. But what I what I think will not matter. GREEN Monday, if you haven't heard of it, was first coined by eBay. It's called that because historically, the second Monday in December is the busiest SALES day of the month, probably due to its proximity to looming holiday shopping deadlines. Here in the USA stores like Amazon, Best Buy, Target and Walmart hope to rake in more money. Is that why they call it Green? Might just be me, but I only found one deal this season of discounts in buying a SSD for $18. And I didnt really need the SSD because I still had a spare SSD from last christmas discounted electronics season. However I did put it to use in a dual SSD system for more games to be on SSD vs some to be on the slower 1.5TB HDD. Also on Amazon Prime Day I bought a Toshiba Fire TV and 2 Fire Sticks at really good PRICES and dont have a need for anything. Even when it came to looking at computers for sale I am like... I really dont need another computer because I have 15 of them and 3 of them are AMD FX 8-core systems and a Core i7 3770 as my fastest, and others are i5's i3's and some Core 2 Quads. At some point I will need a better video card as the best card I have is a GTX 780 Ti 3GB but it plays all my games and until a game requires heavier hardware DEMANDS I am sticking with what I have. |
