Answer» The 15 pin VGA I understand but the other end what is it and what might one use it for? That's an adapter to adapt VGA to HDMI. HDMI is a newer (not brand new) video standard that handles high resolution video as well as audio. All the TVs I've PURCHASED in the last 8 years or so have all had HDMI inputs. Same with newer computer video cards and monitors, they all support HDMI now.
