Solve : Which gaming laptop is best??? |
|
Answer» I'm new to this site but I just wanted to get some feedback as to which gaming laptop is worth spending the money on. The 3 laptops that I was looking into were 1- Alienware M17x, 2- Dell XPS 17", or 3- Ibuypower Battalion 101 17" X2700. IMHO gaming and laptop should never be used in the same sentence... I agree, especially when spending that kinda cash. The thing is that I really dont use my laptop at all for gaming. It's just that in my past experiences, I have had many video/graphics problems and from what I've been researching, gaming laptops seem to be the more reliable option. If you have any other suggestions for a reliable laptop, please let me know. Newegg sells laptops. There's many customer reviews on the laptops they sell. Maybe that will help give you more info on people's experiences with various laptop brands and configurations. Laptops can be used for gaming, yes. But you'd probably aim for a desktop if you wanted to really push the gaming performance. If you just want a good laptop that will last and gaming isn't a priority, go for a business class laptop like the Dell Latitude or Precision series. It seems that they put higher quality stuff in those laptops and in my opinion is worth the expense. They can usually be upgraded to much better specs than consumer laptops, too. (the Dell Precision M6500 can be upgraded to 32gb of RAM, an i7 extreme, and 2 HDDs)Quote from: 2x3i5x on January 06, 2011, 01:49:30 PM Newegg sells laptops. And here's the category you want... http://www.newegg.com/Product/ProductList.aspx?Submit=ENE&N=100006740%204085&IsNodeId=1&name=%241500%20-%20%242000 I have to say I like ASUS laptops.Hey !!
